Shopify agency in Coimbatore
Coimbatore makes things. Knitwear in Tiruppur, pumps and motors in Kurichi, wet grinders, foundry castings, poultry feed, cotton sarees. Almost none of it was built to be sold to a consumer online, and that is exactly the gap we work in β taking a manufacturer with export-grade capacity and no consumer brand, and putting a Shopify store under it that actually sells.
Brands we build and scale
A manufacturer's first D2C store is not a website project.
You already have the product, the capacity and the quality certifications. What you do not have is a consumer catalogue, domestic sizing, photography, a returns policy written for an individual rather than a buyer, or a brand that can carry a storefront. The store is the last five per cent of that work, and every agency that quotes you for the store alone is quoting for the wrong project.
The Tiruppur pattern in particular: export orders are shrinking or getting squeezed, and the obvious answer is to sell direct. But an export spec sheet is not a size chart. Body-size distributions for the Indian domestic market are different from the buyers you have shipped to for fifteen years, and getting the sizing wrong is the single largest driver of returns in apparel β it will quietly eat the margin the D2C move was supposed to create.
Coimbatore engineering brands have the opposite problem. A pump or a wet grinder is a considered purchase with a real specification, a warranty, a service network and a dealer relationship you do not want to destroy. Selling it direct means a product page that answers technical questions properly, a spare-parts catalogue, service-centre lookup and a channel policy that dealers can live with.
Built for the Kovai industrial belt
Tiruppur knitwear D2C
Export capacity, no consumer brand. We build the catalogue, the domestic size chart, the photography workflow and the storefront as one project.
Pumps, motors & engineering
Specification tables, warranty registration, spare-part catalogues and dealer-safe channel policy on Shopify.
Wet grinders & appliances
Heavy, fragile, high-return products. Shipping rates that reflect real freight, damage-claim flows and demo video that reduces returns.
Jewellery & Kovai cotton
Live metal-rate pricing for gold, and weave-detail merchandising for Kovai Kora cotton sarees.
Freight & COD control
Zone rates for heavy goods, COD limits by pin code, and RTO reduction that protects margin on discounted orders.
Gulf & NRI selling
Shopify Markets, AED and USD presentment, and international shipping documentation that keeps parcels moving.
Questions we get every week
We are a Tiruppur manufacturer. Can you build our first consumer brand store?
Yes, and it is one of the most common projects we take on. Be clear that it is bigger than a storefront: your export size specs have to be re-cut for a domestic body-size distribution, product photography usually has to be created from nothing, and the brand itself has to exist before it can carry a store. We scope those explicitly rather than assuming you have them, because a store launched without them underperforms and it is never the theme's fault.
Can you sell pumps and motors on Shopify without upsetting our dealers?
Yes. The usual approach is a direct channel that does not undercut dealer pricing β same MRP online, dealer locator on every product page, and service and spares routed to the nearest centre. Some brands go further and use the store for spares and accessories only, keeping whole units with the dealer network. Which one is right depends on how your channel is structured, and it is a conversation to have before the build rather than after.
Do you work with brands in Tiruppur, Erode and Salem as well as Coimbatore city?
Yes. The whole Kovai belt through to Tiruppur, Erode, Salem and Namakkal is one market as far as this work goes, and most of the projects share the same shape β an established manufacturer or exporter going direct for the first time.
Can the store show content in Tamil?
Yes, through Shopify Markets and translation. Whether it is worth the ongoing maintenance is a separate question β for most Coimbatore brands the online buying audience reads English comfortably, so we usually suggest testing a Tamil landing page before committing to translating and maintaining a full catalogue.
What does a Shopify build cost for a Coimbatore brand?
It depends almost entirely on catalogue size and how much of the consumer-brand groundwork already exists. A manufacturer with photography, sizing and brand assets in place is a very different quote from one starting with export spec sheets. We audit first and quote fixed scope against a written brief, and the audit costs nothing.
