Shopify agency for Saudi brands
Saudi Arabia is the largest ecommerce market in the GCC and the fastest growing, and it is markedly less contested than Dubai. We build Arabic-first Shopify stores with Mada and Tabby at checkout, SAR pricing with 15% VAT, and the ZATCA e-invoicing obligations handled rather than discovered later.
Brands we build and scale
An Arabic store is not an English store with the text swapped.
Right-to-left is a layout problem before it is a language problem. Navigation, product cards, form fields, breadcrumbs, carousels, icons with direction and the entire checkout flow all mirror. Most themes handle some of it and break on the rest, and the parts that break are usually in the cart and checkout — exactly where a broken layout costs you the order.
We build RTL properly with logical CSS properties rather than a stylesheet of flipped margins, so the layout holds when content length changes between Arabic and English. Product content, transactional emails, policy pages and the checkout all get genuine Arabic, not machine translation that reads as foreign to a Saudi customer.
Then there is ZATCA. Saudi e-invoicing is mandatory and phased, and it requires structured invoice data with a QR code, not a PDF that looks like an invoice. We integrate the store with a compliant provider so invoices generate correctly at the point of sale rather than being reconstructed at quarter end.
Why Saudi is the GCC opportunity right now
Most agencies targeting the Gulf point everything at Dubai. Saudi is a bigger consumer market, growing faster, with far fewer agencies fighting for the same searches.
The largest GCC market
Saudi Arabia has the biggest population and the deepest consumer base in the Gulf, and Vision 2030 has pushed digital commerce adoption hard.
Less contested than Dubai
The agency density in Riyadh and Jeddah is a fraction of Dubai's, which makes both organic and paid acquisition cheaper for the same intent.
Mada is not optional
Mada is the domestic card network and it carries the majority of Saudi card transactions. A store that only takes international cards loses a large share of buyers at checkout.
Ramadan is the peak
The commercial calendar runs on Ramadan and Eid, not Black Friday. We plan capacity, campaigns and stock messaging around that, and load-test before it.
Mobile and social first
Saudi consumers buy from phones, and discovery runs through Instagram, Snapchat and TikTok more than search. The store has to be fast on mobile data and shareable.
COD still matters
Cash on delivery remains a meaningful share of orders. It needs order-verification flow and RTO handling, or it quietly destroys margin.

Questions we get every week
Do you build genuinely Arabic stores or translated ones?
Genuinely Arabic. RTL is implemented with logical CSS properties so the layout holds as content length changes, and it is tested all the way through cart and checkout, which is where most themes break. Product content, transactional emails and policy pages get real Arabic. We work with your team or a native copywriter for the copy itself rather than pretending machine translation is sufficient.
Can you handle ZATCA e-invoicing?
Yes. Saudi e-invoicing requires structured invoice data with a QR code, not a PDF that resembles an invoice, and it is phased by taxpayer size. We integrate the store with a ZATCA-compliant provider so invoices generate correctly at the point of sale. Your accountant confirms which phase applies to you; we build to it.
Which payment methods should a Saudi store accept?
Mada is the one that is not optional — it is the domestic network and carries the majority of Saudi card transactions, so a store on international cards alone loses buyers at checkout. Add Apple Pay, which has very high adoption, and STC Pay. Tabby and Tamara are worth enabling for the AOV lift. Cash on delivery still has real share and needs order verification behind it.
Do you have a team in Saudi Arabia?
Our team is in Bengaluru, two and a half hours ahead of Riyadh, which gives an almost complete working overlap — one of the reasons the Gulf is a natural market for us. We already run stores in the UAE, including an Arabic RTL storefront, so the regional patterns are not new to us.
How does Ramadan change how we should plan?
It changes almost everything about the calendar. Traffic and order volume climb through the month with a sharp peak before Eid, and browsing shifts heavily to late evening. We load-test the purchase path before it, plan campaign and stock messaging around it, and avoid shipping major changes during the window.
What does a Shopify store cost in Saudi Arabia?
We quote fixed-scope after a short call and can invoice in SAR or USD. An Arabic-first build carries some extra work over an English-only store because content and layout are done twice, and we say so in the scope rather than discovering it later.
