Privacy Policy

Last updated 29 July 2026

This policy explains what personal data Thriftizer Solutions LLP (“Thriftizer”, “we”, “us”) collects through thriftizer.com and in the course of providing services, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices available to you. It covers visitors to this website and the business contacts of our clients and prospects.

1. Who we are

Thriftizer Solutions LLP is a limited liability partnership registered in India, with its registered office at 24/D, 4th Floor, Friends Colony, Hosur Road, Kudlu Gate, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560068, India, and a presence at 2108 N ST STE N, Sacramento, CA 95816, USA. For data collected through this website we act as the data controller (in Indian law, the Data Fiduciary).

Where we work inside a client’s own systems — their Shopify admin, ad accounts, email platform or analytics — we act as a processor on that client’s instructions, and their privacy policy governs how that data is used.

2. Data we collect

2.1 Data you give us

  • Enquiry and audit forms: name, email address, phone number, company name, store or website URL, service interest, budget range, and anything you write in a message field.
  • Booking a call: the details you submit through our scheduling link, handled by Google Calendar under Google’s own terms.
  • Careers: your CV and the information in it, if you apply for a role.
  • Client engagements: billing details, GST or tax registration numbers, and the credentials or delegated access you grant us for the platforms we work in.

2.2 Data collected automatically

  • Usage data: pages viewed, referring URL, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser type, and interaction events.
  • Technical logs: IP address, user agent and timestamps, recorded by our hosting provider for security, abuse prevention and diagnostics.

2.3 Data we do not want

Please do not send us special-category data — health, biometric, religious, political or similar information — or payment card numbers by email or through a form. If you do, we will delete it. Card payments are handled by regulated payment providers; we never see or store full card numbers.

3. Why we use it, and on what legal basis

4. Cookies and similar technologies

We use a small number of cookies and similar identifiers. Strictly necessary cookies keep the site working and the admin area secure and cannot be switched off. Analytics and advertising cookies — set through Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager — help us understand which pages earn enquiries and measure campaigns.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking analytics cookies does not affect your ability to use the site. Google’s handling of the data it receives is governed by its own privacy policy.

5. Who we share data with

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with:

  • Hosting and infrastructure: Vercel Inc. — hosting, edge network and storage.
  • Email delivery: Resend, for transactional notifications from our forms.
  • Analytics and advertising: Google LLC (Analytics, Tag Manager, Ads) and Meta Platforms, where a campaign requires it.
  • Scheduling: Google LLC, for consultation bookings.
  • AI processing: Anthropic PBC and Google, used to draft content for our own blog. Enquiry and client data is not used to train third-party models.
  • Professional advisers and authorities: accountants, auditors and regulators, where disclosure is required.
  • A successor entity, if the business is reorganised, merged or acquired.

Each provider is bound by contract to process data only on our instructions and to keep it secure.

6. International transfers

We operate from India and work with clients and providers in the United States, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada and the European Union. Where personal data moves across borders we rely on appropriate safeguards — Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent mechanism — and on our providers’ own transfer frameworks.

7. How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that do not become clients: up to 24 months from last contact.
  • Client records: for the engagement and 8 years afterwards, to meet Indian accounting and tax retention requirements.
  • Marketing contacts: until you unsubscribe, then a suppression record so we do not contact you again.
  • Job applications: 12 months, unless you ask us to keep them longer.
  • Technical logs: typically 30 to 90 days.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to processing, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing already carried out.

Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you also have the right to nominate another person to exercise your rights, and the right to a grievance-redressal process — which starts with the contact below. Under the UK and EU GDPR you additionally have the right to complain to your local supervisory authority.

To exercise any of these, email praveen@thriftizer.in. We respond within 30 days, and may need to verify your identity first.

9. Security

We use TLS in transit, access controls and least-privilege credentials, and we review who has access to client platforms at the end of every engagement. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your personal data we will notify you and the relevant authority as required by law.

10. Children

This website and our services are directed at businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Third-party links

Our site links to client stores, partner directories and review platforms. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices — review their policies before submitting anything to them.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. The current version is always on this page, dated above. Material changes will be highlighted here before they take effect.
