Thriftizer Solutions LLP (“Thriftizer”, “we”, “us”) provides custom professional services — design, development, marketing and consulting — delivered by people to a scope agreed in advance. We do not sell physical goods or off-the-shelf digital products. This policy sets out how payments, cancellations and refunds work.
1. All sales are final once work has commenced
Our engagements are bespoke. Once a scope has been agreed and work has commenced, fees paid for that engagement are non-refundable, and all sales are final. This includes advance payments, project deposits, monthly retainers and milestone payments already invoiced, whether or not the engagement runs to completion.
“Work has commenced” means any of the following has occurred: a kickoff call has taken place; a discovery, audit or strategy document has been started; design or development work has begun; an account or campaign has been created in your name; third-party licences or assets have been purchased for the project; or team capacity has been reserved for the agreed delivery window.
2. Why the policy works this way
When you engage us we allocate named people to your project for a defined period and decline other work to hold that capacity. That cost is incurred whether or not the engagement continues. The policy reflects that, rather than a general reluctance to refund.
3. Cancellation before work commences
If you cancel in writing before work has commenced as defined in Section 1, we will refund amounts paid less any third-party costs already incurred on your behalf (domain registrations, theme or app licences, advertising spend, stock assets, payment-gateway charges) and less bank or gateway transaction fees, which are not recoverable. We will share a written breakdown of any deduction.
Refunds approved under this section are processed to the original payment method within seven to fourteen business days of approval. Your bank or card issuer may take additional time to reflect the credit.
4. Cancelling an ongoing retainer
Monthly retainers may be cancelled by either party with thirty (30) days’ written notice. Work continues and fees remain payable through the notice period. Fees for the current billing month are not pro-rated or refunded, and work already delivered in that month remains chargeable in full.
5. Advertising spend
Media spend on Google, Meta or any other advertising platform is paid to that platform and is governed by the platform’s own terms. Where you have funded ad spend through us, unspent balances held by the platform are refundable only to the extent the platform refunds them to us. Management fees for the period are not refundable.
6. Revisions rather than refunds
Where a deliverable does not match the agreed scope, our remedy is to correct it. Each engagement includes a defined number of revision rounds, stated in the proposal. Raise the issue in writing within seven (7) days of delivery and we will fix it at no additional cost where it falls within the agreed scope. Work outside the agreed scope is quoted separately before it begins.
Dissatisfaction with a subjective creative direction that was approved at the design stage, or with commercial results that depend on factors outside our control — market conditions, pricing, product, inventory, platform policy changes or search and ad algorithm updates — is not grounds for a refund.
7. Chargebacks
Please raise any billing concern with us first, at praveen@thriftizer.in. Initiating a chargeback without contacting us entitles us to suspend all work and access immediately, and to recover the disputed amount together with any chargeback fees and reasonable costs of recovery.
8. Delivery of services
Services are delivered digitally and remotely. Timelines in a proposal are estimates made in good faith and depend on your team supplying content, approvals, access and feedback within the agreed windows. Delay caused by awaiting your input extends the timeline accordingly and does not entitle you to a refund.
9. Ownership on termination
On termination, ownership of deliverables paid for in full transfers to you. Work in progress that has not been paid for remains our property. We will provide a reasonable handover of completed, paid deliverables within fifteen (15) business days of final settlement.
10. Statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits a right you have under applicable law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where a mandatory statutory right conflicts with a term above, that statutory right prevails to the extent of the conflict.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The version in force for your engagement is the one published on this page on the date the engagement was agreed. Material changes are reflected in the “last updated” date above.
