Shopify agency in Ahmedabad
Gujarat manufactures at a scale that makes D2C look small, which is exactly why the brands that get it right here do so well. Textiles out of Surat and Ahmedabad, pharma and nutraceuticals, chemicals, ceramics from Morbi β mostly sold in bulk, increasingly sold direct.
Brands we build and scale
Volume manufacturing and D2C reward opposite instincts.
A business built on containers optimises for cost per unit and predictable orders. D2C is the opposite β small orders, unpredictable demand, and a cost structure where packing, courier and returns matter more than the marginal cost of production. The brands that struggle are usually the ones who priced their consumer catalogue off their trade margins without re-modelling any of that.
Surat's textile pattern is the sharpest version. Enormous capacity, established quality, and no consumer brand at all β so the store is the smallest part of the project. The catalogue, the sizing cut for a domestic distribution rather than an export buyer's spec, the photography and the brand itself have to exist first.
Then there is the regulated end. Nutraceuticals and pharma-adjacent products carry claim restrictions that differ by market and are enforced in ways that surprise first-time D2C sellers β an ad account suspension or a held shipment rather than a polite letter. We build claims as structured fields so the storefront can present a compliant set per market, and your team cannot type a banned phrase into a description.

Questions we get every week
We manufacture in bulk. What changes when we sell direct?
The cost structure, mainly. Packing, courier, payment fees, returns and customer service are a real share of a small order and barely register on a container. Most first D2C catalogues are priced off trade margins and quietly lose money at the small end. We model that before designing the catalogue, because pack sizes and bundles are the lever that fixes it and they are hard to change later.
Can we sell wholesale and retail from one Shopify store?
Yes. Customer-specific pricing, minimum order quantities, net terms and a gated catalogue are all supported β on Plus natively through B2B, and on standard Shopify with the right setup. What matters is deciding the boundary first: which products, which prices and who sees what. That is a commercial decision, and it constrains the build.
We sell nutraceuticals. What do we need to be careful about?
Claims, above all. What is permissible on an Indian label is frequently not permissible in the UK, the EU, Australia or the US, and enforcement tends to arrive as an ad account suspension or a held shipment. We build claims as structured fields so the storefront can present a different, compliant set by market and your team cannot introduce a banned phrase by typing it into a description. Take your own regulatory advice on specifics; the store should make the mistake hard to make.
Do you work with brands in Surat, Rajkot and Morbi?
Yes. The whole Gujarat manufacturing belt is one market for this work, and the shape is consistent β an established producer building a consumer brand for the first time.
