This page explains how to have data we hold about you deleted, including anything obtained when you connect a Facebook Page or Instagram account to our internal publishing tool.
1. What we store from Facebook and Instagram
Our internal social publishing tool is used by our own team to schedule posts to Facebook Pages and Instagram Business accounts that we or our clients administer. When a Page is connected we store:
- the Page name, Page ID, category and profile picture URL;
- the linked Instagram Business account’s ID, username and follower count;
- the name of the Facebook account that granted access;
- an access token used to publish on that Page’s behalf.
We do not store your Facebook friends, messages, photos, or any personal profile data beyond the name of the granting account. The tool is not public and has no end users outside our team and our clients.
2. Removing access yourself, immediately
You can revoke our access at any time without contacting us. In Facebook, go to Settings & Privacy → Settings → Business Integrations, find Thriftizer Social, and choose Remove. Every token we hold for your Pages stops working at that moment.
3. Asking us to delete it
To have the stored records deleted as well, email praveen@thriftizer.in with the subject Data deletion request and tell us which Page or Instagram account it concerns. We will:
- confirm receipt, and verify that you administer the account in question;
- delete the stored connection, tokens and account details;
- confirm in writing once it is done, normally within 7 days and always within 30.
4. What we may keep
We keep a record of posts that were already published — the date, the caption and the post URL — because that is a record of work performed for a client, and in some cases we are required to retain it for accounting purposes. It contains no access tokens and no personal profile data. Tell us if you want that record removed too and we will explain what we can and cannot delete in your specific case.
